Have you ever had a feeling that no matter how many times you say it out loud, you don't feel it really shows what your feeling, well that's the mood I am in. I feel all lovey dovey right now.. probably because I'm  going to get to see the man I love in a few hours. So as I was thinking of him the poem above came to mind, it doesn't rhyme and each line is two words only but I think by far this is my favorite poem! He will probably read this, and if he finds it too mushy so be it. Well kiddies, I am off, and my challenge to you is if you are taken then show the other person you appreciate them, if you are single then hug yourself and love yourself cause you know what its ok to be single too! Granted you don't want to hear that, but its true! Or maybe go out and try to meet someone new ^ ^ well I'm off kiddies have a safe and fun night!!!!

Summer Fun

 Well the next couple of days are going to rock my socks off... and maybe my shoes lmao.... A friend of mine is coming up to see me and my roommate ambz. We are going to get together and have a blast the next couple of days. Thursday is the day she arrives and we head off to The Caves in St. Paul, where we will swing the night away. Friday night its partying it up at Valentino's but unlike Thursday we will be grooving to a different beat. Saturday will hopefully be a day of fun in the sun!!!! Ok yeah I realize I have been super cheesy in describing what we are going to be doing. But kiddies what you don't understand is its going to be cheesy and amazingly awesome at the same time. I can't wait and I'm really excited. Mostly because my friend that is visiting is going to Scotland in the fall so I won't be able to hang out with her for a whole semester!! I can't wait, just thought I would update since I haven't in awhile, but I'm proud of myself that I'm still posting.. I;m thinking about changing up the background for my blog to something else and renovating it cause once in awhile change is good!!!

Moving slow then fast

Keeping time with the beat

Rush of blood to the ears

Losing everything in sight

Nothing matters 

There are no problems

There is only the beat

The rhythm of the soul

A twirl here

A stomp there

Emotions run with the sound

Nothing can stop what has begun

No one can say why

Or who it will strike next

Nothing matters

Except for the beat

It's the beat that makes everything

It's the beat that lives on

It's the soul that carries it forever
